What happens when the power generation from the system is higher than the consumption?

As per the net metering regulation that is in place in the United Arab Emirates, any excess of power will be transferred back to the grid and you will get that amount of energy credited to your account for future usage. If the power generation from your solar system is lower than your consumption, you will then get the remaining power needed from conventional electricity directly from the grid.

However, TotalEnergies will design your solar system so that the system does not overproduce compared to your annual consumption and forecasted activity.
