How does solar energy work?

First, the photovoltaic panels that make up the solar system convert energy from the sun into direct current (DC) electricity. The inverters then convert the DC power in to alternating current (AC) electricity that will then be used to power the company’s electricity consumption needs. Any excess energy on site goes back to the grid and saved for any future uses.
